Hey guys,

As the title would explain I'm looking for a good quality gaming keyboard that will fall within my $70 (R700) budget and will match the rugged look my "beast" has achieved thus far. I have the HAF X case as well as the RAT7 mouse so it looks kinda Transformer-like. Are there any decent rugged/scary looking keyboards that will fall in my budget? If not, I'm willing to spend the extra bucks if need be... Just wanted to try and stay on budget..

Thanks in advance

I have owned only two keyboards in my life, my BlackWidow now and a Saitek Eclipse II beforehand. I have heard things through the grapevine that Thermaltake actually doesn't make a half bad keyboard for the price, but like I said, no personal experience with one to back that up. Also, the Zalman looks really cool. I like the buttons at the top of it. The logitech is no slouch either, even though it isn't mechanical. Neither of them are now that I think about it. :p Anyways, If i was to make a decision based on the color of the backlight, quality, reputaion, look and usability, I would have to go with the Zalman K400G, they look of the keyboard just matches the HAF X too well, plus you said that you were going for the black and blue...

Just looking around really quick, I was able to come up with this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823162025. I don't know if you have the red or blue HAF X (I have the blue edition with the BlackWidow Ultimate by Razer.) But if you do have red, that would look pretty sick. Hope this helps!

Hey Vaxorth25 thanks for the reply.. My case came with the red LED but i changed it to blue (I'm going for the black/blue look). That keyboard looks amazing, do you know if its any good though? I checked out the Zalman K400G (I like the design but it looks really cheap and is cheap as well lol), then also on my shortlist is the Logitech G105 and the Gigabyte Aivia Series K8100v2... With regads to the suggestion you made... Do you know if its any good?

I also just noticed the thumb grooves on the space bar for it, those actually look like a good idea in theory. Anyways, Hope this helps and happy PC gaming!
