PC shut downed while removing installation media

Hello friends ,
I was installing Ubuntu and unfortunately my PC shut downed while removing installation media DVD. Is it safe to boot up on the HDD with Ubuntu or should I hit Windows , Format the drive and do stuff again ?
Ubuntu is my first and only experience with Linux , so I basically have no idea of what I am doing :p

History -

Hitted BIOS. Made UEFI DVD Writer Boot Option #1.
Booted.
In options , clicked on Try Ubuntu.
Then Ubuntu loaded. ( boot source was CD )
Installed Ubuntu via same DVD.
PC asked me to remove installation media. Was doing that , but light went off and came back , but PC abruptly shut downed.

So what should I do now ?

Solution

What likely happened is that you didn't have your Windows drive mounted and when Ubuntu installed Grub, the launcher, it didn't see the Windows and now when you start your BIOS is defaulting to the Windows drive. While you could re-install and yes it's safe to do that, it's...

Everything was finished at that point, It was telling you to remove the DVD prior to shutting down the power so that it wouldn't still be there when you rebooted and piss you off because it restarted from the DVD rather the the hard drive. Very polite of it if you ask me. Have fun with your new system.

Unfortunately , when I booted with the Green drive ( ubuntu OS drive ) , it didn't , instead Windows booted from my Blue drive.

Its reinstallation time on my PC.......................................................................................................................................................
BTW is it safe enough to install UBUNTU back on my PC on the same partition after formatting it ? I guess yea , but asking to be on the safer side.

A: Modify your BIOS to boot to the Ubuntu drive and then install and run Boot-repair https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Boot-Repair accepting the default repairs
or
B: If Ubuntu can't be started that way then start your DVD and install Boot-repair there. Just remember that boot-repair will not be permanently on the DVD so it's a good idea later to download it to your Ubuntu on the hard drive so you have it handy.

Either way should fix you right up.

Solution
I just hitted the DVD in UEFI , saw that ubuntu was installed , but there was no way to get in it. It wouldnt boot on the Green Drive , nor did it show the ubuntu choice.
So I reinstalled Ubuntu on same drive and now it boots nicely with the Ubuntu option in boot settings as well.
Only issue is I need to change boot source if I want to go to either OS , but thats fine :D
