Well, let me start by saying that Yes i knew that my old PSU(Absolute Superpower 550w) could have trouble booting up the system but i had previously used an XFX HD 4850(512mb) card with it and it worked fine for 2 years but since i got this GPU i can't get the system to boot or even beep. :(

So, what i did was that i bought a near new Antec 500w Basiq PSU from a Dealer guy who told me that he had run a GTX 570 on it with no trouble plus with Antec's brand name i was fairly confident that it would boot the system but to my shock it didn't. The same thing again started to happen no beep no display but when i switched to integrated graphics, it ran just fine i've tried to use 4 pin molex to 6pin connectors to see if it was getting even proper voltage from my previous psu and in this new PSU, there was only a single 6 pin connector so i had to use it here too but anyways this is my situation...totally frustrated about my purchase and that why it is not even booting. At this point it could be a faulty GPU also, not necessarily the PSU or maybe even something else! what's your take on it guys?

System Specs:

Core i5 2500k 3.3Ghz
4GB DDR3 1333mhz of RAM
Club3d AMD Radeon HD 7950 Royal King 3GB
Antec 500w Basiq PSU
MSI H61m-p21 Mobo

1.) Try another graphics card in your computer

2.) Try the graphics card in another computer

3.) Regardless, buy a descent power supply. No matter the brand, 500 is pretty much the minimum for good gaming cards. Save yourself some hassle, headache, and fried parts later on and get a descent rated 700watt or better.
