Hello

Can someone please tell me if gtx 650 ti boost. is compatible with gigabyte 970a. Gigabyte 970 does not have a pcie x16 3.0 slot but the gtx 650 ti boost needs a 3.0 slot.some people said it will cause lag.please tell me if these components will work properly together.

Thank u.

Pcie 3.0 X16 is backwards compatible with PCie 2.0, 2.1 X16. so it will work as long as you have a X16 slot and a PSU good enough to handle the card.

They will work as the PCIe 3.0 Cards are backwards compatible. I ran a GTX 680 in a 2.0 Slot and it did fine.
