My PS3 is displaying video just fine, but there is no sound. I'm using an HDMI cable, and I've done the whole 'restart' thing and select 'Yes' for HDMI video/audio and nothing. I've done it multiple times. :/

It's not a BIG deal, I'm at someone else's home trying to do this, but I was hoping to play a game while I'm here. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

I've had that problem before and you should get the sound to work if you run through the audio setup again. Some TVs use a different standard for audio input. Go to sound settings, select audio output settings, HDMI, then make sure to select Automatic setup, it should detect the output needed. If that is what you have tried, try to manually select a few of the similar options to see if that helps. If that doesn't work only other thing I can recommend is trying a different HDMI cable :-/ Hope this helps!

Thanks for the suggestion, I tried that earlier. xP

I can't try a new HMDI cable, it's the only one I have available here and it's the one from my own TV at home. Thanks, though! I'm getting used to playing in silence for a day or two, haha.
