Can you network 2 wireless routers?

I have a DVR that needs a wired ethernet connection to get internet. We cannot get a wire to the existing router. Is there any way I can wire the DVR into another wireless router and then network the 2 wireless routers so that I could get internet from the original router to the new one and then to the DVR?

What you are looking for is called a bridge.

Some wireless routers have that as an option while others do not. Please check the manual to see if the one you have can.

If you do not have a second one yet, consider looking to buy a wireless bridge(unless you plan to need another router in the future. If you will, get a router that has an option to be a bridge :) ).

With a bridge. you can even put a switch on the other side to run multiple devices and your main router will manage them all(give out ip addresses and whatnot).
