I would go with the BenQ, 5000:1 Native Contrast, 178 degree viewing angles, 4ms response, a couple speakers, go with the BenQ

And BenQ claims that their VA LED is better than IPS, I have never seen one but if that is true then definitely get it, IPS has amazing colors and viewing angles and so does the BenQ seem to have very similar specs

This video may be biased being from BenQ but I recommend you watch it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UOpuFvhT8Hw

And on another note e-IPS is not very good, it is better than a standard TN panel but you want true IPS, or VA LED

If we are talking about that monitor the 5000:1 Native contrast ratio will be really great! Not to mention it is true 8-bit color, rather than 6+2 with the Acer.

The BenQ is better A-MVA LED>e-IPS. Also the BenQ has a 5000:1 native contrast ratio>1000:1(Acer). BenQ 4ms response time>5ms response. True 8-bit color(BenQ)>6+2-bit(Acer): the 6+2bit color only simulates 8-bit color while not really having the 8-bit color scheme that the BenQ has, the BenQ will have a better picture, faster response time, better colors, as well as contrast. The BenQ is the definitive choice here. Good luck

Then if you got the e-IPS for a decent price it'll be a decent monitor. If you can get a true IPS then even better
