Why is there a ping difference between browsers?

I noticed that there is a difference between Chrome,Firefox and Internet Explorer in terms of ping.

In Speedtest.net i get these results:
Chrome: 22 Ping
Firefox: 15 Ping
Explorer: 10 Ping

All of the tests are done on the same server of my ISP.
Can someone explain why is this happening?

Likely because it isn't a true ping command. The speedtest is running some form of script to do the test and that by itself affects the results.

The only true ping time delays would be ones you run from the command prompt yourself. Then again ping times can easily vary 10ms just because of random delays in the internet
