I am a graphic design major and a gamer and i need help deciding what PC to get, i was originally going for a mac but alot of people tell me it is bad for gaming.
My budget is around 2000
I want to be able to run games like mincraft, WoW, runescape, with no problems.

thanks.

Well most everyone here is going to recommend that you build your own PC. Macs are way overpriced. I like Mac OS X for its aesthetics and software suite, but that and the shit hardware you get with it aren't enough to justify its terrifying price points.

Anyway, if you build your own PC, you have the option of Windows, Linux, or if you want to be really complex, Mac OS X(colloquially referred to as a "Hackintosh"). Regardless of your Operating System (OS) building a PC will result in MUCH lower price : performance ratio than if you bought a pre-built PC. If you've never built one before, it's very easy and thanks to tutorials on YouTube and the internet in general PC building is much simpler than people think.

Anyway, reply if you'd like to continue with getting a pre-build or if you want to take your first jump into the realm of PC building. Also, I assume that your currency is in USD ($)?

Ah well when you say that your budget is $2,000, what else are you including in it? Is it just the base build or is that budget also meant to afford a monitor, keyboard, and mouse? And for an OS, I assume you'll want me to suggest you a build with Windows 7, right?

Edit* I see that you actually need more components than this has. I was still in the process of putting it together when you posted that.

It didn't have windows either. Like I said, I posted that without seeing your comment about other stuff you needed. Mouse and keyboard is probably more of a personal thing. Go to Best Buy, Walmart, Office Max, or whatever and find one that suits you. You possibly could find a decent deal on a monitor that way too. Office max often has some listed on clearance in their Sunday ads. I picked up 2 samsung 24" a few months ago for $79 each. The sunday weekly ads in general are probably your best bet for monitor deals.
