I want to use PCI-E 2.0 x16 to get some extra bandwidth of my gpu..
I'm using Gigabyte's G41-S2PT Mobo with C2Q Q8400 @2.72Ghz.
Can anybody knows how to change it from pci-e 1.1.

You cannot change the bandwidth, the mobo is limited to 1.1 x16, anyways, Its time for an upgrade I am afraid, that Q8400 will bottleneck the 680 hard..
