I am running low frames per second I can't figure out why. I am a little rusty with this. I got me a new rig with I7 4770k @ 3.5 stock with sli GTX 770 oc 16gb Ram Windows 8. It only getting 40-50 fps. This is sad. I see other people rock this game with less or same parts. Is there something I need to change in settings or profile 770. I do got the latest driver. Any help will be great.

What game are you running? What resolution? 2560x1440 res with 2 monitors is recommended with this. Change the nVidia 3d settings to default and check your computer once more for any errors within. An SLI cord could be unplugged.

Some games Worse and better then others Left to right. I am running on 50" led 1080p for right now as a temp. I check the cable and it seem lose. I don't believe my system under spec it should be high end. I don't get it i been away from pc for like 6 years noob feeling all back again haha... btw here is my system specs little more better http://pcpartpicker.com/user/jacobg8857/saved/2oll

I don't see anything overheating. I don't know what the problem is.

Dang that is a really overkill pc. The latest nVidia driver is optimized for BF4 but other games should run fine. Try turning down the Anisotropic Filtering to x2 or x4 in the graphics settings of the game.

Also check if you have limited the fps and set it to no limit. It would be in the video settings. This means the fps would only go up to a certain.

okay I will give this a try. could it also be a bad card in the machine how would you tell?Sli is working just not acting up to par. Should I try to take one card out at a time and try them by them self, maybe reinstall drivers?

Yeah testing each card would be a good idea. LOL I didn't even notice you wrote SLI.

Ya 2 770s haha, this making my head steam. That much power cut down in half on a 1080p, easily run the games 120fps.

Well if it worked after you took the 1 out then your PSU must not have enough power to use both of them. What is your PSU?

That should be enough so I don't know what could be wrong with SLI here. Maybe 1 card has something wrong with it.

Also check if you did SLI right : http://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch001167.htm

Some how i got it fix by just taking them out, testing, putting back in a different way. one power line for 8 pin and one power line for the 6 pin, move the sli bridge to the first row which is towards back of the tower made sure everything tight. Dayz staying at 60fps in citys 90% of the time. Fix and working. if anyone else reads this make sure everything is tight, connected right.
