Hi I'm new to Tom's Hardware and currently doing a transplant of my old XPS 8300 to a Corsair 600T as well as upgrading at the same time.
I plan on upgrading the PSU and GPU.
the CPU I plan on getting is:
Corsair CX 600W 80Plus (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0092ML0OC/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&tag=s601000020-20)

Im stuck between three different GPUs:
1) MSI N760 TF(Twin Forza) (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127745)

2. EVGA Superclocked 760 w/ACX Cooler (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130932)

3)MSI N760 Hawk GTX 760 2GB (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127750)

Im not sure the wattage requirements for the two MSI GPUs im assuming they're 500W aswell.
I unsure about the compatibility of the GPUs and the motherboard currently used by the XPS 8300. its an LGA 1155 with a H67 Chipset, found it on ebay which looks identical to the one I have.

I honestly don't want to buy a new motherboard right now.

My real question is whether or not this transplant will be successful or not. I've read on this forum as well that someone has don't a successful transplant of a xps 8300(same exact specs as mine) into a Corsair 600T as well as with a new PSU. So... more directly, will the GPU work with this motherboard??

**Edit: I took more of a look an noticed the ASUS GTX 760 which also looks nice but if someone can recommend an AMD alternative equivalent to these cards that would also be great

Solution
For a system using a single GeForce GTX 760 graphics card NVIDIA specifies a minimum of a 500 Watt or greater system power supply that has a maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 30 Amps or greater and that has at least two 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors. Some of the non-reference design GeForce GTX 760 cards have a single 8-pin or two 8-pin or one 6-pin and one 8-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors.

Total Power Supply Wattage is NOT the crucial factor in power supply selection!!! Sufficient Total Combined Continuous Power/Current Available on the +12V Rail(s) rated at 45°C - 50°C ambient temperature, is the...

Total Power Supply Wattage is NOT the crucial factor in power supply selection!!! Sufficient Total Combined Continuous Power/Current Available on the +12V Rail(s) rated at 45°C - 50°C ambient temperature, is the most critical factor.

The Corsair CX600 (SKU# 75-001668 / CP-9020048) power supply unit, with its maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 46 Amps and with two (6+2)-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors, is more than sufficient to power your system configuration with a single GeForce GTX 760 graphics card. This PSU is targeted at low budget builds and is constructed using low quality electrolytic capacitors.

An AMD Radeon HD 7950 or the new AMD Radeon R9 270X has around 10% less performance than a GeForce GTX 760.
An AMD Radeon HD 7970 (non-GHz Edition) has around 7% better performance than a GeForce GTX 760.
An AMD Radeon HD 7970 GHz Edition or the new AMD Radeon R9 280X has around 13% better performance than a GeForce GTX 760.
See what's available within your budget range.

There's no reason, other than being defective, why any of these graphics cards wouldn't work with your motherboard.

none the less I love his answer, thank you Koi for the complex answer this gives me ambition to move forward with this transplant. If anyone has any other details such as which of the GTX 760 should I choose or an alternative that would be great thank you

That'll be in several months maybe shorter depending on things, I live in the Cayman Islands and getting items down here can be a pain at times not to mention the duty fees but I'll be sure to send you pics once the process begins maybe make a thread aswell
