I am really deciding to buy one of these cards and I really can't decide over

AMD Sapphire 7950 vapor-x http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

or

Nvidia EVGA GTX 760 SC
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

I am really only doing this for gaming (Battlefield 4,Far Cry 3, Batman: Origins, and more) here are my specs:

MotherBoard:GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 AM3+ AMD 990FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

CPU:AMD FX 6300 overclocked to 4.5ghz

Power Supply:Antec High Current Gamer 750w

Ram:G.SKILL Ares Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866

Graphics Card:MSI N560GTX-Ti 448 Twin Frozr III PE/OC GeForce GTX 560 Ti - 448 Cores

I know this is very stupid but I want these card because of the free games which i don't have so thats why I pick these cards :)

Best solution

I asked myself the same question and the 7950 simply can be had for less money therefore better bang for the buck so I just bought one.

the GTX 760 has a much higher core clock meaning it'll perform alot better, if you're gonna get the GTX 760 I'd reccomend the MSI N760 GTX 760 TF(Twin Forza) which has much better cooling and a higher clock for the same price, If your willing to spend 40 dollars more you can look at the MSI N769 Hawk which has even better cooling and a higher clock all of these are on new egg

If you're willing to pay 289 for a gpu....none, how about this for 10$ more?

Thats a TINY BIT better than the 7970 Which is better than both GPU's you have mentioned above :)

Pick this as solution if...well...it helped!

A whooping 14% over std HD7950 when the Vapor X has 18% clock increase when on boost http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/EVGA/GTX_760_SC_ACX_...

I say if he's willing to pay 289$ for 760 (which is a rip off) Pay another 10 for this thing which is better than the 7950 and 760 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Not the best of the 280x's but better than both
