I'm a noob. Please help.

Computer Name: DELL
Operating System: Windows 8 Single Language 64-bit (6.2, Built 9200)
System Manufacturer: Dell Inc.
System model: Vostro 270
BIOS: A09
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3470 CPU @ 3.20GHz (4CPUs), ~3.2GHz
Memory: 4096MB RAM
DirectX Version: DirectX 11

Solution
The drivers are very similar, but the graphics chips that the drivers talk to are different. Unfortunately, if you want to upgrade your graphics chip, you will need to either upgrade the processor to one that has the HD 4000 chip (a bit difficult for a newbie) or install a discrete graphics card in a PCI Express X16 slot (if you are using a desktop).

To anort3: I have an I5-3570K in my desktop that has the HD4000 in it.

No. The HD 2500 is integrated into the CPU. The HD 4000 is only found integrated on the i7 3xxx chips.

You can however add a discreet graphics card that would be many times faster than any integrated graphics. The only limiting factor would be your budget and power supply although the power supply can also be upgraded.

It's a 'K' model. I should have been more specific. The HD 4000 integrated graphics are found in the i5 3570k and i7 3xxx series CPUs ;)
