hey guys, I've got a three year old computer running an 1st gen Intel i3 530
an Nvidia GT 9800 and 2 x 2GB of ram, clocked at 1333 MHz

I'm looking to do a cheap upgrade, right now i am leaning towards upgrading my processor to an i3 4330 and changing my mobo to an ASRock H81M, and il probably grab an AMD 260x when those arrive here in
Iceland along with more, faster RAM

should i upgrade my cpu/mobo first , or should i start off upgrading my GPU / RAM, i play a lot of games, but i dont need ULTRA MAX 4K 144Hz MEGA GAMING, if it runs at 60fps at 1680x1050, im happy , would my planned build suffice?

PS: I live in Iceland, which means everything costs much more than in the USA or UK, a nice rule of thumb is that everything is 2x as expensive in Iceland (Not joking)

I didnt see you PSU in there, I would say upgrade your GPU (minimum 500w Good PSU, by good I mean 80+ Bronze or brand like Corsair, Antec, basically not a cheapo PSU. Grab that 260x although and I bet you know whats coming next I suggest getting the best card you can, you might experience a bottleneck but if you arent playing at max res, you probably wont notice and if you do it would be nominal.

Make sure your PSU can handle the card. i3 530 is a dual core cpu and will suffice for gaming. You may not be able to surf the web or do heavy multitasking at the same time but for gaming it will hold its own. So I would suggest GPU (if your PSU allows or vice versa) CPU, then RAM

When I posted that it was meant for multitasking but I had like 2 mins left at work so I rushed it. Example, playing Black Ops 2 on one screen and trying to watch netflix on the other while you have something downloading and alt-tabbing to the internet. With her ram of 4gb and the i3 530 she might experience slow processing since the cpu would be stressed. That is all I meant by it. But funny for calling me out :D
