So first of all here are my specs.
CPU: i7 3820
GFX: EVGA GTX 680
RAM: Corsair Vengeance (4 x 4GB) 240pin DDR3
Motherboard: ASUS P9X79 PRO

So as you can see by my specs, i should be getting pretty good frames in most games. I built this computer about a year ago. Lately i have been playing World of Warcraft. Typically i run it on high settings with a frame rate cap of 60 set. It pretty well never budges from there. About two days ago i started experiencing 20-30 frames and a max of 40-45 frames on lowest settings. So after this happened i loaded up Arma 3 to make sure that it wasn't just something to do with WoW and i experienced drops on that game as well. I tried going over the things ive done the past days and i can't think of anything that would cause this to happen.

For the most part the only thing i tried was to reinstalling and checking drivers for updates.

No idea what to test, try, or do...
Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance.

Hmm, it's been a year. Have you been defraging your HDD or clean out the dust in your case? What are the temps of you gpu? The only thing I can think of is just having a layer of dust on your card and causing it to throttle down due to temps rising.
