WD Green 3TB, SHowing in BIOS as 0GB, but not showing in Windows 7

Hi all,

As title I have a 3TB WD green, which when installed into my Asus M5A99X EVO R2.0, shows as a drive in the BIOS, but only as 0GB.

When Windows 7 Loads, it doesn't show at all, either in Device Manager or Drive Management.

All my SATA ports are set to AHCI and I am running:

AMD FX 8320
ASUS M5A99X EVO R2.0
HIS 7950 GPU
8GB RAM
250GB Samsung 840 EVO SSD (Windows only)
Seasonic 550W PSU

Any suggestions?

DOA drive or bad DRIVE FW
Change the SATA ports
Change the SATA cable
Try some WD test tools to check are they see the drive Ok & BAD

I have tried all SATA ports and different cables with no success, I have tried it in a different PC and again it still shows in the BIOS, but nowhere in Windows.

I'm thinking it is dead, but am hoping somebody has a fix

Very frustrating :(

Well as i sad : i think you have RMA situation here !
WD is not bad but you have bad luck .....
