Hello forumers,
I'm building a new rig and motherboards are the worst aspect of my hardware knowledge, so I turn to you for advice. I don't need many features, I just need the following:
1. OC an i5 3570K to around 4.3Ghz.
2. Crossfire, because a 280X is more than enough right now, but two of them could prolong my PC's life for another year or so someday.
3. At least 2 USB 3.0 ports.
4. Obviously some (say at least 2) SATA 3's.
5. Anything else that you would recommend for gaming / moderate overclocking (not for fun, but only as far as it would yield better performance without compromising the system - nothing too radical) is welcome.
Obviously, I don't want to pay for features that I won't be using, otherwise I'd just buy the a Maximus or something. But if I could have similar features (at least the ones that I need) for less money why would I waste the cash, rather than investing in another part.
Thank you in advance.
P.S. Also, brand? A friend of mine told me that ASROCK use cheap parts, but I think his knowledge of this might be anecdotal...
