so i just got my arc midi r2 case and it comes with the 3 pre-installed. 1 as intake, and 2 as exhaust. now, i know its better to have positive pressure, and the way it is now i dont think it will get that. so would it be better if i keep the back fan where it is, un-install the top fan and put it in the front slot, so i end up with 2 front intake and the 1 back exhaust.

another question is dealing with the hard drive bays. i am going to remove the middle 5bay tray. but my question is, since i am going to have 2 fans in the front, should i go ahead and remove the bottom tray as well as it wont impede on the fans intake? i only have an ssd and a regular hard drive. with the ssd, i could put it behind the back of the panel hiding it in essence and freeing up cable management. but what i was thinking was maybe putting the hdd in where you can put optical drives. unless thats not a good idea.

They use a define mini r3 which has a similar lay out to the arc midi r2 so you may be able to draw similar results. The stock configuration will be perfectly fine as tiny voices said. What you ask in regards to removing the cages is up to you. IF you have an optical tray mount for your HDD then go for it. If you have to spend money on it then I would say save it and just remove the top HDD tray.
