Hello everypne.
So I plan on buying this case the Phantom 530 case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
Which has a built in fan controller. I wanted to make sure that it would be safe for me to plug in an LED fan such as this one:

Could it in some way short out the LED? Should I just go for normal fans and then get lights?
Thanks!

Nope, you'll be fine to run that fan with the case's fan controller. The only thing to consider is that if the fan is controlled to run at a lower speed the LEDs will dim as they will also be getting lower power. If that's a concern go with normal fans and get the lights.
