Sapphire Vapor-x 7970 GHz or gigabyte 3x windforce 7970ghz GV-R797TO-3GD
I know it sounds silly but I got a deal for used 7970 ghz for 450 2 cards(225/card) and I am not sure which one between sapphire vapor x and gigabyte ghz wf3 http://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-PCI-Express-Crossfire-Graphics-GV-R797TO-3GD/dp/B008WAMV3Y/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1381790347&sr=8-1&keywords=GV-R797TO-3GD should I buy, or should I buy one R9 290x which will come tomorrow?
I have the Gigabyte HD 7970 and I bought it because it was one of the extremely few Radeon cards that HardOCP gave a gold award to. Brent Justice is an nVidia fanboy so they give nVidia a whole bunch of golds but they actually gave gold to this card. I was shocked.
Super Batman said:Ok then. I think I understand. Well if you have a Gigabyte 7970GHz then you might as well stick with Gigabyte. I hear rumors that some brands don´t play well together.
Besides Gigabyte Windforce is at about the same level of performance as the Vapor X
Well to be honest, I've never seen that happpen, at least, not that I'm aware of. I was using two XFX Radeon HD 4870 cards and I've used them with MSi, ECS, ASRock and now Gigabyte.
