I'm thinking about getting a 23.6 inch monitor that is 1080p. Would you say that this is a reasonable monitor size compared to its resolution? Am I going to see any pixels?

Give me your opinions on this!

P.S. I'm currently on a 20 inch 900p monitor.

i have a 22" samsung 1080p monitor, and a 24" asus, if you want to know how i know. this is the main reason i refuse to go to 2560x1440. because they wont make a god damn monitor at that rez under 27". its all about money and marketing. my nexus 7 tablet (7 inch screen) has 1080p resolution, and it looks godly. if i had that kind of pixel density and 22 " id cry. so its not that it cant be done, its that they make more money selling bigger screens at a cheaper mfc cost. so be wise with 1080p!

i sit about 2 1/2 feet away from my screen, and on my 24", the pixels are quite visible. especially in this text. i guess its also a matter of eye sight from person to person. but i recommend the smallest spectrum of sizes for of every resolution of monitor. but, of course 1080p can only look so clean at 22" and up.
