Can someone please help me pick out parts for a gaming PC build?

I already know how to put together a PC build, I used to know everything about PC hardware in 2009 but I got busy with schools/work etc and now I'm clueless on what hardware to buy.

I want to be able to play the following games in a minimum of 30fps on max settings at 1080p.

Crysis 3
Battlefield 3
Starcraft 2

I don't have a real budget but I want to spend as least as possible for my needs, also I would prefer that all the parts come from Newegg. thanks

I think you guys are going overboard with the parts...I don't need 8 cores or expensive cases and stuff like that.

And I was hoping for something cheaper like $600 dollars....

I'm not going to be doing editing and programing and stuff like that.

You are expecting too much for $600, especially when you want to meet the requirements on playing Crysis 3 at 30+ fps on max settings. The GPU really will take about 1/2 that price.

I have basically the same thing but a different storage and a asrock board. throw a gpu in that puppy and take full advantage of the dual graphics/crossfire with the APU. certainly isn't going to play crysis 3 at 1080p max settings at adequate frames but it will certainly get the job done at lower settings

really really budget friendly If I could go back time and change my setup i don't think I would,ofc fI had a much better budget it might be a different story but mine was around 450(already owned OS+SSD) good luck and i'm sure ill get some hate saying to go with the fx series and a discrete gpu and blah blah. but honestly the APU is the most budget friendly route you can go...

Do you need any peripherals? Keyboard? Mouse? Monitors? OS? If not, it can bring that cost down.

sorry I didn't really read your first post, but if you insist on 1080p gaming then go ahead and work with am3 processor (amd fx series) but be ready to fork out a lot of extra cash
