I have windows 8.1 but no directx 11.2?

I ran dxdiag to see what version of directx I have, and the result was 11, not 11.1 or 2. I have the windows 8.1 preview installed, and l'm worried that my hard earned hardware doesn't support 11.2. Another thought is that maybe directx 11.2 is game exclusive? Help is appreciated.

Specs:
OS: Windows 8.1 Preview
GPU: Gigabyte windforce 7950
RAM: Corsair vengeance 8 gb (2 x 4gb)
Mobo: M5a99fx Pro
CPU: FX-8350 @ 4.6 ghz
PSU: Rosewill Green 620w

"oh really toms? the article says that the hd7000 gpus are fully compatible with 11.2, but since microsoft changed something in their feedback-routine, the drivers are NOT YET compatible.
AMD promised to release a 11.2 fully compatible driver in october, when windows 8.1 is released (trust me, my english may not be the best but i'm from austria, so a native german speaker and i understand what the article at heise.de says)

Lets hope so but for now it dont seem that its working hope it all works out for you and how do you like win 8.1? I have win 8 but I use classic shell on one system hate the metro interface of it.

Windows 8.1 is good, but I like it mostly for the performance increase. I think you can have it boot to desktop, but the start button is basically just a link to the metro screen. Also, please use punctuation, it's kinda hard to understand what you mean. XD

I,m sorry hope you figure your problem out my thoughts are! The notebook your own isnt strong enough or up to par persay.... to run Battelfield 4 . It is a demanding game such as crysis 3 is. Good luck on your game and have a good night, I did see acers laptops had removable cards in there systems maybe you should look into a upgrade.
