How does this build look? (Budget)

I already bought the GPU so that's not changing... Lol.

Case: Haven't really decided. Was looking at RL-04 or Cooler Master HAF-912

CPU: Was avoiding APU's in case of possible upgrading and bottlenecking. I'm looking at AMD FX-6300

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-D3P

PSU: EVGA 500W Bronze

Memory: G.SKILL Ripjaw X Series PC3-17000

GPU: ASUS GeForce GTX 650 Ti Boost OC

I already own disk drives and hard drives. Otherwise.. How does it look? Can I expect to run games on high settings with this build?
(I never play >1080p. Heck, I never even play 1080p)

Save some money, about the best the 6300 will do DRAM wise is 1866, I'd look at the GSkill Snipers, not many 8350s can even run 2133

Does the system seem balanced otherwise?

The only thing I was unsure about was matching the PSU with the motherboard. And that seems to be okay?

Should be fine, unless you go SLI, then would need more power

Been watching my Canadian sites, Newegg, and NCIX. Managed to save quite a bit of money.

Only paid $129 for my 650ti 2GB OC boosted Asus card.
And $65 for my G Skill Snipers 8GB.

Saved myself like $70 already.

Sounds good :)

Then spent the money I saved on an Apevia X- Hermes Green. Just because green looks pretty on all builds.

And finally got down to ordering the last couple parts. Being a student money is really a factor haha. Some parts got changed out for cheaper/on sale counterparts.

- Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-D3P $90
- GPU: ASUS GTX 650TI 2GB OC Boost Version. $130
- CPU: AMD FX-6300. $125
- RAM: G-Skill Sniper Series 8GB. $75
- Case: Apevia-X Hermes (Green). $85
- Power Supply: Cooler Master Extreme 2 525W $50

Total Cost: $555 Reusing my Hard drive, and DVD drive.

I'll let you know how it all turns out when it gets here. Super excited.

Best solution

For anyone interested my build changed a little as noted above but seems to be great. Running every game I have maxed out so far.

Battlefield 3 and Witcher 2 are my only tries so far though
