new computer doesnt work

i turn on my new pc, it starts to boot up, sometimes it has 2 lines on the screen that are pixeley. It loads part of windows 8 and then either goes to a blank screen or a full pixel screen. it has made it through the windows 8 start up once and then crashed, any help?

Sounds like you are trying to use a harddrive with a windows install done on different hardware with different drivers. Try repairing it with your windows 8 media.

Startup from the media and it will offer to do a repair. If you can boot into safe mode you might be able to delete all none current drivers and install the new ones.
Or the correct way would have been do a clean install of Win 8 with the new hardware.

i cant get to that screen i just get to choose an operating system and it has 3 choices of windows 8 saying on volume 2 not much else i can do

Line 4 in that paragraph "If your Windows 8 system refuses to boot, you can use a bootable Windows installer disc"
