Ok so I want my computer to have great graphics and I was wondering which of these would be better, I was stuck between 2 7970/R9 280X or saving up and getting say a R9 290x/780? Which choice would bring me behttp://tter graphics. plz help 
if you are gaming at 1080p,then a single HD 7970 is great.However resolutions above 1080p like 2560x1440 or 2560x1600 needs either like a GTX 780 or R9 290X.But please dont consider buying the 780 for 1 monitor.It is completely an overkill

Derp on my part. I say go for the R9 290x. It's cheaper and will run (maybe) as good as a 780 for cheaper. I am using a 780 on a single monitor and in BF 4 cranked ALL the way up I'm getting 50 - 60 FPS with V sync on.
