Help needed for Graphics card

I looking for a good graphics card for my build. Something that will last and won't have to be upgraded for a long time.
CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core $117.97
CPU Cooler: NZXT Kraken X60 98.3 CFM Liquid $109.99
Motherboard: Asus SABERTOOTH 990FX R2.0 ATX AM3+ $174.98
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 $93.22
Storage: Kingston HyperX 3K 120GB 2.5" SSD $98.99
Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM $84.98

so sould i get that one which is $419 or a R9 280X that is $299-$320

The R9 280X is just a rebranded 7970 and the 770 has significant improvement over the last generation GTX 680 which beats the HD 7970 so you should go for the GTX 770
