so im doing my transplant but im at a standstill between 3 GPUs

1) MSI N760 TF(Twin Forza) (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...)

2. EVGA Superclocked 760 w/ACX Cooler (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...)

3)MSI N760 Hawk GTX 760 2GB (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...)

I'm told the MSI Hawk is the best GTX 760 out there because it had the best cooling and a pretty good clock. Which one should I choose or recommend me an AMD equivalent to these card just make sure they can past the standards of the MSI Hawk otherwise I believe I'll just get the Hawk

Solution
Just to be clear, do you plan to buy the CX600 or already have it? If you can get that XFX one I recommended for about the same price go with it because it's Seasonic made and should be higher quality, but the CX600 will work just as well.

Either card will realistically handle all games at 1080P fine with some exceptions being Crysis 3 for example. Big problem is the 700 series and R9 series is they are barely different performance wise from the previous generations, their not real upgrades, so you might want to consider the cheap option which is the Hawk.

If you really want the Hawk go with it, if you want the most performance for a good price go with the R9 280X which is almost the same performance wise as a 770.

Yes MSI and EVGA are both great brands.GO with the one which has better cooler and a better warranty.

This is the better card for a good price with many features for overclocking such as TweakIt; this will also be faster than a 760 with a 3 year warrenty to boot.

TOP EDITION:
ASUS MATRIX-R9280X

Standard EDITION:
ASUS R9280X-DC2T

You can also just grab the 7970 which is the same card pratically and comes with 3 free games:

The top standard, not in my price range atm. Standard range though looks nice but since its 3GB Vram im assuming thats about 550W requirment. I plan on using a CX600W and a 50W difference.. ehh I wanna be more safe with 100W difference.
The MSI N760 GTX 760 Hawk has a higher core clock aswell for both the standard and top editions of the R9 280X but then.. the interface size are different as well as memory clock. So it's quite a bargain. check this thread out: http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1840512/future-computer-transplant.html

If you think I can power the R9 280X with that setup that I might reconsider but currently all eyes are on the MSI N760 GTX 760 Hawk

While the CX600 isn't the a very quality unit, it can power any of those graphic cards without a problem. When looking at a power supply you should be looking at the amps on the 12v rail which will give you a better idea of what you can achieve with your power supply.

The CX600 has 46A on the 12v rail, and the R9 280x/7970 both require about 30 amps.

Radeon R9-280X - 30A and a 550W psu minimum
Radeon HD 7970 Ghz Edition - 31A and a 550W psu minimum
Radeon HD 7970 - 30A and a 500W psu minimum

The hawk edition does look like a good card, but whatever card you choose you can always manually overclock yourself too.

Here is the a cheaper 7970 too since I didn't list it: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125413

You can also get a XFX Core Edition PRO650W(Seasonic based so it will be high quality) for about the same price as a CX600, depending on where you buy from, here is a link:

I've decided to get the MSI N760 GTX 760 Hawk because after doing a bit of research turns out to be the best 760 I can buy. the Corsair CX600W has a 46A continuous rating so i'm all clear with that. the cheaper 7970 seems like a good candidate as its has 2k SP while the GTX has 1k Cuda Cores. So I'm deciding between the two but im more turning to the MSI Hawk because its cheaper but I can always reconsider

thanks for the great info, I settled for the hawk since it would last me maybe two years and work fine. I havent bought anything yet. I read some reviews on the 650W PSU and some said it died within months sometimes with the CX 600 had a better spotlight but I will take a good look at them both ty
