I recently bought new Western Digital internal hard disk named Western Digital 2 TB Green (WD20EZRX) from flipkart..

Yesterday i tried to install windows 7 via bootable usb and i partition it as 200 gb for C drive and another 150 gb for D drive..
Install the windows in C and then it takes approx 4 mins to install and to complete all features and updates...
Windows get started, I visit my computer.
I see D drive which was not showing any capacity, open it, and it shows me some msg of unknown file format and then it prompt me to format the drive in order to use it..
I prompt it format start, it takes approx 5 mins but it still at formating process.. Just after some seconds it shows me format could not complete and some error msg (That I don't know
I think this was just a fault, i went to disk management and format from there, same error..
Now pls tell me what to do, either the hardisk is damaged or some fault is in the windows..
But i tried alienware , the result was the same..

Any help will be greateful appriciated..

Edit: the rest of the 1400 gb was unalocated, cuz i decided to give them parition later when windows boot..
Pls help me.

It should work, if your HDD isn't physically damaged. :D

And this is the method for creating partition from Windows mode, under Win 7.

Else, you can look for other third party "partition manager" software.

Please note, this method doesn't need hours, but can be done in minutes.

I don't know what port i connected it, but i make sure that its connected at Sata 3.0.
Rest i don't know..

Lemme change its port to sata 3.0 to 2.0 and then format it, then c what happens..

It should be in SATA 3.0, not in 2.0

From WD site, I have seen the following:

WD Green hard drives are designed for use as secondary drives in PCs, for external enclosures and other applications for which low noise and low heat are beneficial.

I doubt, whether you can use the drive for Windows installation or not.
