Very strange monitor problem!

Hello, I am facing a strange problem. My computor monitor does not display anything when my PC is turned on, but when I turn the monitor off and on again, the orange light changes to blue and after half a minute the display appears and everything works fine. I have looked around for solutions but cannot find any. Thanks!

Also, I mash a few keys and swipe my mouse about after I restart my monitor, if that affects anything c:

check your video cable for broken pins or bent pins and broken wires inside the cable. if your system has onboard video see if the monitor posts fine on it or on another system. it could be a sign that the switch on the monitor or the main board in the monitor is starting to fail.
