A few months ago I would say i5 without a doubt. Now though, that games are coming out that require multi cores (plus games are being made for consoles that run AMD) I am not so sure anymore. Only time will tell now.

If you are on an unrestrained budget for the CPU, its definately the 4770k. Normally I wouldn't suggest a hyperthreaded CPU for any gaming, but BF4 is showing use of the extra thread(s), so maybe that might become a trend.

If you are on a budget its definately the 8320.

Not sure what games you're playing but the GeForce 640 is not gonna get you the greatest frames with decent graphics on most newer games. Games are more GPU driven than CPU so you'd be better off getting a cheaper CPU and a better GPU such as the radeon 7850.
