I apologize if this was already answered somewhere, however I was not able to find any relevant, additional information regarding this topic.
I am looking to purchase the Biostar Hi-Fi Z87X 3D, however I am hesitant to do so because I do not see anywhere that this board will support my current processor, Socket 1150 E3-1230v3 Xeon Processor.
Does the Biostar Hi-Fi Z87X 3D support the E3-1230v3 Xeon processor?
-The Biostar Support list does not mention it either way.
-Will the board post and run windows specifically, no overclocking intensive adjustments i.e. overclocking, with my Xeon Processor?
-It is my understanding that the Z87 chipset is capable of supporting the E3 Xeon line of processors for the Intel 1150 socket and that some manufacturers, for example ASRock, do officially support the Xeon line on their Z87 chipsets whereas other manufacturers do not list official Xeon support, however their Z87 offerings are able to post and boot into Windows specifically without issue.
IF NOT
Will the Biostar Hi-Fi Z87X 3D be gaining support for E3 Xeon processors, specifically my E3-1230v3 Xeon?
-If so, when?
Is there a music production oriented board that Biostar, or another manufacturer, makes, or will make, that will support my E3 Xeon?
