I would look into buying a new power supply if I were you. My brother tried using a cheap PSU that came with his case one time, and the PSU gave out after a month. He was lucky that the only thing that went was the PSU. He used the molex-PCI connector to power his video card, which I assume you are wanting to do as well. You may be able to get away with doing so on a good quality PSU, but it's alot more risky on a generic PSU. It's not worth the risk in my opinion, since a PSU failing can take out other components as well. GPU, CPU, MOBO, etc... Alot of people try to cheap out where the power supply is concerned, and they really shouldn't risk it. Hope this helps you somewhat.

AMD recommends a 450 watt power supply at the minimum for that video card, so you do meet that recommendation. However, without knowing how the power from the power supply is divided up among the voltage rails, it's hard to tell whether it will work. Also, everything I can find about your power supply brand suggests that it is not a reliable one.

I'm going to keep looking for more information on the power supply. Is there a model or part number somewhere on it?
