Ok...amd website has been useless, so now i come here. I have 2 Gigabyte Radeon 7870 crossfired. I was using a hdmi-hdmi to connect my monitor to my graphic card and wanted to use a hdmi-displayport to connect my sony bravia 50" tv to my graphic card so i can play netflix on my tv for my kids. Well i connected it but i was getting no sound. I got a message saying "an hdmi to dvi connection has been detected. In order to hear audio you will need to have a separate audio connection from your computer sound outputs to your tv or audio equipment" but im using a cable that fully supports all features included in the DisplayPort 1.2 specification, including support for audio for appropriately equipped computers. So i took it and connect my monitor to the graphic card and it worked fine with sound and used the hdmi-hdmi cable to connect my tv to the graphic card and picture is fine but yet again no sound and i get the same message but its not a dvi connection its a hdmi-hdmi connection. I know all the hdmi ports(i have 3) on tv work cause i used to hook up my laptop via hdmi to tv and watch netflixs and an hdmi audio option would pop up.Can someone please help me...i been searchin the web and forums for 2 days now

I have the same issue, I just posted my question here: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-2280527/monito...

I hope there's someone that knows the answer to this specific issue. If anyone answers my question in the future and someone was looking for a solution and came to this thread, then you could potentially check the answer on my thread.
