Hello everyone! Can someone help me build this new components? My girlfriend bought me a few pc components. I think these are not just simple, cheap components, I think. I do know how to build an average pc but I am new to these ones. I've done some research about them and I am missing a power supply and a graphics card. And since don't do much gaming, I won't bother spending for a graphics card.

Here is a list of the components:

CPU - Intel Core i7 4770k
Motherboard - Asus Maximus Impact VI
SSD - Sandisk 64gb
Memory - Corsair Vengeance 8GB 2x4 1866
Case - Bitfenix Prodigy

Are these compatible to each other? What else do I need? And thank you in advance. God Bless

those are some top notch gaming components. it'll be a shame if you aren't going to game on it but its your call. you'll need at least a good quality 350~400w psu (preferably at least a bronze certified one as you don't want to compromise such equipments with generic brands) and a mechanical drive with 500gb (pics and vids pile up if you don't pay attention). please consider gaming on it with either a gtx760 or 7950 (500w psu recommended). it pains me to see such a setup not be used for what it is meant to be. an apu might have been a better alternative for your usage but alas the cards have already been dealt.

Well, for one, never leave your gf. Those are all very good parts. Even if you don't game, I'd still recommend getting a decent GPU. Look for a GTX 760 or a Radeon HD 7950. You will also need a Hard Drive, any 1TB one from Western Digital or Seagate will be fine. Get an XFX ProSeries 650 or 750w unit. And yes, they are compatible.

Thanks for all the quick replies! By the way, what's the use of my SSD? Can't I use it as a hard drive? And I also have a portable hard drive, a WD My Passport Ultra 2TB.
Can I play with some games with this pc considering I don't have a graphics card, yet?

Seriously, never leave her, she has a good choice with the hardware.

A small hardware related joke regarding girls for you guys..

Girl to Boy : Which laptop do you have?

Boy : Intel i5, 8GB RAM, 765m, 120GB SSD, 1TB HDD, etc..

Boy to Girl : Which laptop do you have?

Girl : Umm... Pink one..!!

you can use the ssd for your OS drive. i don't recommend using it as your file storage drive. it'll fill up very quickly and will wear and tear a little faster. you can play on it using the igpu of the cpu but don't expect much from it as it is as anorexic as a starving fashion model.
