Hi Guys,

i just wanna hear your opinion about a more cheaper cpu cooler than a noctua nhd14 that is capable of mid overclocking.
im planning to have a gaming rig with the above procy and will overclock it to 4.2 ghz... thanks

can the hyper evo 212 withstand an overclock of 4.2 ghz?

I'm not so sure with the overclocking of a Haswell CPU because I don't have personal experience with it yet. But most likely, it can. Because Ivy bridge CPUs can OC to 4.2ghz with the CM 212 EVO without exceeding 70 °C.
