Hi, I'm somewhat experienced in overclocking but not enough and I need a bit of advice

I'm running custom waterloop with my i7-4770K and Asus GTX780DCII-OC
strapped on Asus Maximus VI Extreme and I got only so far.

other parts than than:
Corsair Dominator 1600mhz 1.5v 2x8Gb
samgsung 256gb SSD PRO
2tb WD RED HDD
EK-WB cooling loop things
Cosmos II ultra
few funny fans
PSU: Coolermaster V700, based on seasonic.

I'm currently running stable enough 4.8ghz @ 1.325 volts but I want to go higher
also I'm running my GPU 1293mhz @ 1.149 volts but thats not good enough. I need to go higher!

the thing is, I don't have that much of an idea what I'm doing, I'm just poking around and suddenly I get clocks. so If you would guide me through to even higher with this setup,
it's with dual rad's and water temp under load about 30 to 35celcius on the whole loop, idle between 25 and 30 depending on room temp as usual. first serious build, motherboard is faulty (going to swap it soon, it ieats cmos batteries like a horse.)

here is a proof that its real

ask me of the details, I'm not quite sure what you guys need to help me out..
also I want to crack those memory sticks up too, anything I can do to them? thanks :)

thank you in advance, your humble new member, me.

Hi,

What are your CPU and GPU temps under stress testing (Not water temp)?

Also this worries me "I don't have that much of an idea what I'm doing, I'm just poking around and suddenly I get clocks", perhaps read up on some overclocking guides for the components you want to overclock first before actually overclocking.

yes I've read guides and such, none of them seem to be too advanced tho. thats the problem I need rather advanced help with the volt configs and such not the overclocking part.
OCCT test shows cpu stress while doing small dataset to rise up to 75c at 4.8ghz, medium dataset peaks first at 70c but remains confident 60c and below, GPU never went over 42c, except vrm topped at 55c.

Here is a guide to OC'ing Haswells which helped me a lot: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-1722630/intel-god-quick-dirty-guide-4ghz-haswell.html
Here is a video interview with an Asus expert that has a lot of Asus specific recommendations for OC'ing Haswells: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=ub6WnHmiIOs#at=131
Here is a rather long thread on OC'ing an i5 4670 on an Asus board. Although it is not the same CPU as yours, it has a lot of valuable tips that will also apply to the i7 and your Asus board: http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1711682/tips-overclocking-4670k.html

That should get you started!

Good luck!
