Hello,
I am going to update my laptop with an SSD.
If I have a copy of windows 7 home premium (which is what is currently installed on the laptop) but its a copy for my HTPC (as usual I did not get the disc with the laptop) not the laptop.
Can I install win 7 with that disc and use the code on the sticker that is on the laptop?
Or do I need to buy a new copy of windows in this instance?
The answer to this will also dictate which SSD I get.
