Here are the parts:

Intel i5-3570K
Asus Z87-Plus Motherboard
HIS Radeon R9 280X

Corsair Builder Series CXM 750W Modular
Western Digital 1TB internal Hard Drive
Aerocool X-Warrior Screwless Gaming Mid Tower Case

I also need a good cooling fan.
Will these components work with each other?

you're buying a 3570k and trying to put it in a z87 board you need to either change the 3570k to a 4570k or change the z87 to a z77 board
3570k/z77 = lga 1155
4570k/z87 = lga 1150
they're different sockets

A good cooler is the Coolermaster Hyper 212. Doesn't matter which version of it.

If you want the 3570K (socket 1155) look at the ASRock Z77 Extreme 4 mobo (best out there and only about $120)

If you want the Z87-Plus mobo (great mobo by the way) then get the 4670K CPU

also need a CPU cooler, with either of the rigs go with the Hyper 212 EVO
