Right now on Newegg and Amazon, it seems you can get them for $80 or so. Are they particularly good or bad in terms of reliability and price?

I notice it says it using a 2nd-generation Sandforce, not too sure what that is but I hear that suppose to be a bad thing.

Mostly looking for a SDD to increase boot speed for my windows 7 and maybe put some games on it.

It's a good SSD at a great price! I recently installed one in a coworkers machine, and it's been awesome so far. Excellent reads and writes, and comes from a company with excellent customer service.

I must say it is a fantastic find & worth the price friend! I am using the same SSD for quite a while as a boot volume for my Win8 & works terrific.
