When I say won't turn on I mean the screen never does anything and it shuts off after just a couple of seconds once the power button is pressed.
I recently became an owner of a used Lenovo B560. The notebook came with no RAM, Hard Drive, or PCIE card. I found a stick of DDR3 ram that I had forgotten about and put it in to test to see if it would turn on. Sadly it would not(I also tried the stick that is currently in my working laptop). I tried taking the battery out and pushing the power button and holding it down for a minute like many other seemingly dead laptops have been fixed with. Still nothing. I believe it to be a faulty motherboard but I am curious to know. Does anyone have any other ideas of what to do or if there is a way to fix it?
