My computer i built was just working fine (few months) and today i took out my gpu and replaced its fan. i put it back in and i turned on the computer and get an error saying "The current BIOS setting do not fully support the boot device. Click OK to enter the BIOS setup."
"Go to Advanced > Boot > CSM Parameters and adjust the CSM (compatibility support module) settings to enable the boot device)" I tried that and no result. I also tried changing the sata settings to ide and still nothing. When i check my sata connections in bios it doesnt show any sata connections at all. When i do put another boot device such as a usb it does detect it but if i put an optical drive via sata it doesnt detect it either. Help is much appreciated im clueless!

You could try to flash your BIOS which will take everything back to defaults and should boot, seems like it's software related as it rejects even optical drives too. If you want you can search up some tutorials to flash from USB seeing as it does detect it meaning it's reading it, or follow this one which I did when I updated my BIOS:
http://www.tomshardware.com/faq/id-1838132/flash-bios-needed-windows-bios.html
(If your mobo has a dedicated flash port you can just install the BIOS onto the USB then plug it in there.
Good luck, I hope I helped.
