Hello everyone,
I just wanted to ask about this before I make a mistake and damage any of the components from my computer.
I have an old Crosshair Formula III set up with a Zalman Cooler CNPS9500.
I am in the process of upgrading my machine and I bought a Crosshair Formula V-Z. I wanted to keep the cooler as it has worked wonders with my old set up. The cooler is quite old and I find that in the website it only supports all the way up to sockets AM3.
Since AMD has been very consistent in socket structure, I imagined that I shouldn´t have any problem with the Zalman Cooler, but I wanted to ask confirmation of this before going forward and using this cooler with the new board.
Any advise will be greatly welcomed.
Thanks
