Hello all! Long-time no see! I've been busy at work building my brand spankin' new computer. The specs are: AMD FX 6300, Sapphire 7950 Vapor-X + Boost, 8 gigs of G.Skill sniper RAM, 128GB Samsung 840 SSD, and 500GB Seagate Barracude HDD. Now I've put it together, and it was working AMAZINGLY with Bioshock: Infinite(my new favorite game), but about a week into using it, today, it didn't work. Before I had the machine up and running, I ran into some problems of course since it was my first time building, but it seems to be the same problem this time around. The computer would POST, but a second or so, 1 long beep and 3 short beeps. I looked into it, and it turns out my RAM was in the wrong spot. So I moved it to the correct spot and it worked until now. Same problem, but the usual reseat didn't work. I could really use some suggestions on what to do now, I'm stumped. Unless I have to buy new RAM, which I hope not to but I will if I have to in the name of gaming. Thanks for any and all responses everyone!

Solution
try one dimm in the main slot see if one dimm went bad. if the system post run memtest86 on the ram dimm from a boot disk. if the motherboard has onboard video try pulling the gpu and see if the system posts.

So you looked up the code in the manual and it told you it was the RAM? And you fixed it and now it has the same beeps? Try to take out one stick and leave only one is. Make sure to put it in the spot that you mobo manual tells you to put it. See if one or the other will work. If so then then the one that will not work is bad.
