New 4th gen Core?

I am looking to do a upgrade from an AMD Phenom 1045t six core to a Intel i5-4430. The AMD bottlenecks frequently in games (BF4,BF3,PS2) and I am looking for a cheap fourth gen Intel replacement. My other specs are; GTX 660, 8 Gigs ram, and a 450 watt power supply. The motherboard I was looking a for the upgrade was the ASUS Z87-A.

in that case the 4430 would be more than enough to keep up with a 660. but wouldn't it be more cost effective to spend 50 more dollars for a 4670k and then use the money that you saved from avoiding a second upgrade (4430->4770k) to get a better gpu? just my 2 cents

However I want the 4th gen socket so that I can upgrade to a i7-4770k or something of the sort later on.
