PC for COD Ghosts and Bf3

I want to build a computer that can run COD Ghosts on ultra setting, high res. and will be able to play bf3 at lowest on medium settings. But I have a low budget of around 500. I already have a hard drive, OS, and ram. I was thinking about getting the amd fx-6300 with a and Radeon 7890. Any builds that around the $500 budget and are better for gaming would be really helpful. THANK YOU!!!

No I don't have a case yet but I was thinking of going with something with good airflow but not too expensive

I see, around $550, can you push it? There are a lot of cheap cases there with enough airflow.

Do you think instead of a 7950 I could get a 7850 or 7790 and still run Ghosts on ultra with highframes smoothly

For COD Ghosts is the CPU or graphics more important

For ghosts in campaign, GPU is more important. But when you play MP, the needs to be also powerful, and of course the GPU will also be stressed. For about $30, I'd go for the 7950 bro. The 7850 may run it smooth but not on ultra and 1080p.

Ya thanks for taking time to help me! I really appreciate it. Just one more thing. On newegg I found the 7950 for 200 but the one you picked was $60 more. So I was wondering if there is any difference and if I should try and invest in an overclocked one.

I just chose that because it was a combo thingy. hehe Yea if you find a cheaper one, take that one.

Since the price was dropped on the gpu I was thinking of goin intel because they are more efficient and do not take that much power. Do you think it is worth getting i5 3470 over an fx 6300

Oh yes. But and intel rig would cost more. hehe I don't know how much is the price diff for the sandy bridge and haswell right now. But if you can find an i5 3470 at around $150, then great

K! Thanks man! It's would be really helpful if you could find a nice motherboard case and psu for my build. I had done some research on some cases and other stuff and it turned out to be $560. If you could put something together with the intel i5 3470 under $560 that would be awesome! Thanks again for everything, you really helped me! ☺️
