Is it good for overclocking? if not, recommend a better mobo. In terms of stability.

CPU being cooled by a thermaltake water 2.0 extreme.

Or can any z87 mobo ovverclock it ?

Thinking of overclocking to 4.3 ghz

No problem, and it's not so much the parts they use as they don't seem to do any Quality Control during production, most places are pulling mobos off as it goes and testing a number of them, it's like they don't....I get more problem calls on their mobos than any 2 other manufacturers put together

AsRock pro is NOT like Asus pro..I blew one up..took out my cpu+mobo+PSU+backup mobo.
then AsRock denied RMA..grr..
This board is solid and good: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813138380

..unless you want a slightly used,slightly greasy z87x-oc for $150 ..I have one of those for sale.

In the interest of cheapness I'd keep looking @ Newegg until the Hi-Fi z87x is available open box.Money saved is money saved.
Want pumpkin board? :D

@Tradesman1: bro just wondering, is ASUS the BEST manufacturer of everything right now? :) Because unconsciously, I love their GPUs so much that I don't look at gigabyte's or any other company's GPUs anymore. haha Also, their mobos are top notch IMHO. What do you think? :)

With the Z87 line, I look to their mobos first, Z77 I still think the Rock had the best handle on the chipset and CPUs, X79 again 1st Asus and then up in the air, haven't found other mobos that handle 64GB of DRAM well, and only the Rampage that can really handle 64GB of 2400, am looking to get my hands on one of the new X79 Deluxe mobos, on AMD mobos I look to Asus or the Rock, sort of a tossup but at the 990chipset - Asus, GPUs I've long been a fan of EVGA, but since the CU cooling design came out from Asus, I look to them more often than not first, then EVGA (on nVidia) then GB - with AMD cards, Asus then, Sapphire then GB....I generally will look at other brands also, especially if a client has a request for something in particular on GPUs, but on mobos, it's only Asus, the Rock or GB, if someone wants to insist on say MSI, BioStar or another brand, I'll just refer them to someone else if I know of anyone that will work with the mobo wanted, or just tell them sorry, no can do.

I see. I've been hearing this stuff that MSI isn't that good anymore, their QC is not so good.. And the components being used are not of quality! Oh well.. I'd also do the same as to what you do. Mobos z87: Asus, then asrock. GPU, ASUS, evga, then gigabyte. :)

@Tradesman1: thank you bro.
