Newbie question here. I'm in the midst of planning a new gaming rig. I'm planning to get MSI 990FXA-GD80 AM3+ as my motherboard and Antec GX700 for my case.

From the Antec site (http://www.antec.com/product.php?id=706394&fid=5022074&...) it says that there are 2 x USB2 and 2 x USB3 ports at the front but the motherboard specs on the MSI site (http://www.msi.com/product/mb/990FXA-GD80.html#?div=Det...) says that there are 2 x USB2 and 1 x USB3 internal I/O connectors.

So I'm short of 1 USB3 connector here. Is there any workaround or do I have to choose a different motherboard?

The front panel USB3 connectors act as a hub that splits a single USB3 header on the mobo to 2 USB3 ports on the chassis.

Your fine. :)
