i have an h80i, and im not sure what the best way is to setup the fans. should i have them setup as intake or exhaust? Or one fan pulling in and one fan pulling out? which would give the best performance?

Solution
You want fresh air from outside coming in and then pushing the hot air into your case where either you can install some exhaust fans to help or it will naturally rise and exit the case
Yes and no. Yes because it matters where you place them. If they are at the rear, then obviously the fans should be positioned so air is blowing out of the case. If they are placed in the front, they should be positioned for intake. But would the radiator care? No.

Why would you want to push hot air into the case?

With the CPU being cooled by the heat exchange in the fluid the temperature of the air inside the case has much less of an effect than that of the air passing through the radiator fins

Because other components do not generate as much heat as the CPU and most GPUs have very good heat solutions. Also even Corsair recommends that you have the fans intake air :http://www.corsair.com/us/media/cms/manual/49-000174_rev_AB_H80i_QSG_web.pdf
